Nowadays our world is changing extremely. Different spheres of our life like industry, medicine and others develop rapidly. One of the reasons of this is using different modern technologies as robotics and automation of management processes. In our days technologies based on using computers are wide-spread in such areas of industry like transport, agriculture, medicine, computer engineering, machinery systems, space areas, production and operation of systems and controls in the industrial and defense sectors in the economy, oil and gas industry, energy, equipment, civil aviation, shipbuilding, instrument engineering, mechanical engineering, design and others. On the one hand, it allows to decrease the number of workers in these areas of industry. On the other hand, employers need high-skilled staff that could operate high-tech equipment. It is clear from these observations that the modern stage of the development of industrial production could be characterized with using of advanced technology and to achieve extremely high operational characteristics of working equipment as operating, so designed. All this is possible only on condition of performance of making an essential improvement of management quality of industrial facilities using computer systems of automation of management processes. For the purpose of the best acquaintance of this subject we should get make conversant with some special terms and history of an automation of management and technical systems management processes. Automation or automatic control, is the use of various control systems for operating equipment such as machinery, processes in factories, boilers and heat treating ovens, switching on telephone networks, steering and stabilization of ships, aircraft and other applications and vehicles with minimal or reduced human intervention. Some processes have been completely automated. The term automation, inspired by the earlier word automatic (coming from automaton), was not widely used before 1947, when Ford established an automation department. It was during this time that industry was rapidly adopting feedback controllers, which were introduced in the 1930s. Control engineering or control systems engineering is the engineering discipline that applies control theory to design systems with desired behaviors. The practice uses sensors to measure the output performance of the device being controlled and those measurements can be used to give feedback to the input actuators that can make corrections toward desired performance. When a device is designed to perform without the need of human for correction it is called automatic control inputs (such as cruise control for regulating the speed of a car). Multi-disciplinary in nature, control systems engineering activities focus on implementation of control systems mainly derived by mathematical modeling of systems of a diverse range. These terms are connected with term "robots". Automation systems were built in ancient times. The Greek engineer Ctesibius (c. 270 BC) "applied to knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics to produce the first organ and water clocks with moving figures." Archytas of Tarentum postulated a mechanical steam-operated bird he called "The Pigeon". Hero of Alexandria (10-70 AD), a Greek mathematician and inventor, created numerous user-configurable automated devices, and described machines powered by air pressure, steam and water. Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) sketched plans for a humanoid robot around 1495. Da Vinci's notebooks contained detailed drawings of a mechanical knight now known as Leonardo's robot, able to sit up, wave its arms, and move its head and jaw. Sometimes automation systems developed during different wars. For example, in German during WWII was invented Goliath - remote controlled tracked mine that was steered remotely via a joystick control box. Also were invented Wasserfall (Waterfall), an anti-aircraft rocket which had a complex control system which include a radar, a computer and an operator. Alike machine was named V-2 that was the world's first long-range guided ballistic missile. It has autonomous automatic control system. But, of course, modern systems of automatic control have appeared from the beginning of space researches. The most famous remote controlled space ships of the beginning of space explorations were Sputnik, Luna1, Explorer-I and others. One of the most interesting space ships was remote controlled Buran which was invented as the part of the Soviet space shuttle program. As you could see, people who work with systems of automation of management processe have lot of perspectives in different areas of industry. The object of my investigation is the technical management systems; the subject is the practical using of the technical systems management. The main purpose of this work is to describe the profession of engineer that work with constructing and operating automatic technical systems of
