El gallego es la lengua que hablan

El gallego es la lengua que hablan en Galicia unos dos millones y medio de personas. Se escindió del portugués a mediados del siglo xiv. Fue la lengua de la lírica cortesana en los siglos XIV y xv, pero luego quedó postergada a favor del castellano, hasta que vuelve a resurgir en el siglo XVIII (con Rosalía de Castro, E. Pedal, Castelao, etc.). También es idioma cooficial con el español en Galicia.
